The 2023 National IT & Engineering Compensation Survey presents compensation data submitted by 1,055 U.S. firms of varying sizes, geographic locations, and industries for 202 job classifications.

This survey is conducted in cooperation with 6 other associations nationwide who are a part of the Employer Associations of America (EAA), of which HR Source is a member.

Each job classification is displayed by sub-groupings:

  • 18 Industries — Manufacturing, Non-Manufacturing and Financial Services, etc.
  • 5 Sales Volume/Operating Budget categories
  • 6 Asset Sizes
  • 8 Employee Size breakouts
  • 3 Profit Status categories
  • 6 Regions — (Central Plains, Great Lakes, Mountain, Northeast, Pacific and Southeast)
  • Metropolitan Areas
