We offer a wide range of legal services to meet members' labor and employment law needs. All services are provided by our dedicated labor and employment law attorneys, with a combined 38 years of management-side labor and employment law experience.
Our attorneys are prepared to provide the following services to members:
Legal Representation before State and Federal Agencies
Whether it's the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board or the Department of Labor, our attorneys can represent your organization before state and federal agencies.
- Release and Severance Agreements
When it's necessary to terminate an employee, you want the process to be efficient, effective, and risk-free. The Management Association's attorneys can help by not only recommending the proper discharge procedures, but by helping you prepare the necessary and legally-compliant release and severance agreements.
- Recommendations regarding proper legal documentation during hiring, discipline, and termination
- Draft and review employment policies or employee handbooks (can be done for any state)
- Workplace harassment, ADA, FMLA, union-free and other labor and employment law-related training
- Conduct workplace investigations
- Facilitate the alternative dispute resolution process
