The Management Association of Illinois provides data from its annual wage/salary surveys towards the production of this national survey sponsored by the Employer Associations of America (EAA) of which The Management Association is a member. Twenty-three (23) EAA associations nationwide representing 38 geographic areas took part in this edition of the survey which has been conducted on an annual basis since 1983.  Each local association uses the same set of benchmark job descriptions so that data can be combined nationally and compared across areas.

Survey Purpose:

This survey is very useful for companies who have facilities in more than one location and would like to be able to compare/access data from many areas in one survey. For those members who want only local data, choose our regular Wage Survey or Salary Survey for the most current and detailed data available.

Survey Details:

Data is taken from each association's local survey, aged to a common date of October, and presented for 151 benchmark jobs:

  • Office, Clerical, and Technical Occupations
  • Supervisory and Professional Occupations
  • Production Trades Occupations

Each job shows statistics for the weighted average, median and mid 50% range (25th and 75th percentiles) and is broken out by the areas listed above.

If you are a non-member who is interested in participating in our surveys, please give us a call or e-mail us. Non-members who participate are eligible for a discount (as high as 50%) off of the full survey price for each survey that they provide data for.
