Survey Details:

The Survey contains compensation data for 39 jobs as well as benefits for both full-time and part-time employees.  Click here to download a PDF file containing the 2011 job descriptions.

Statistics Provided by Job:

Number of libraries, number of employees, average base pay, median base pay, interquartile ranges (25th and 75th percentiles), extremes (10th and 90th percentiles) and average hours per week.  Job descriptions are also provided.

Extras included in the survey:

• Summary of statistics on such things as average number of branches, average number of volumes, average annual circulation, etc.
• Budget projections for the coming year
• Breakouts by budget category, population category and employment size for each position
• Comparison data, where available, from The Management Association's 2011 Wage/Salary Surveys
• Benefits for full-time and part-time employees on a range of topics such as retirement plans, sick pay, health insurance, EAP/wellness, training, tuition reimbursement, cell phone policy and pay administration
