Regardless of your industry or the size of your workforce, HR Source collects, processes and publishes reliable compensation data to fit your needs. We currently have two carefully curated compensation resources available for participation.

2023 Metro Chicago Compensation Survey

• This is our largest local compensation survey, covering more than 270 positions. 
• Participation is open through April 21, 2023.
• We are excited to add four new positions to the survey this year: Business Development Manager, Heat Treat Operator, HVAC Technician, and Plumber.
• This is a general compensation survey which includes positions up to the manager level. (Executive-level positions can be found in the National Executive Compensation Survey.) Positions in this survey include exempt, non-exempt, production, and service roles. We offer a host of other industry-specific surveys including our Library Survey, National IT & Engineering Survey, National Sales Compensation Survey, Illinois Non-Profit Survey, and the Park and Recreation Compensation Survey. • Participation options include online questionnaire, PDF questionnaire, or spreadsheet upload. 
• Survey contacts were emailed a custom link through our PeriscopeIQ survey platform on March 7.

2023 Library Survey

• Our annual Library Survey covers more than 60 positions and includes a robust benefits section.
• It's open for participation through April 21. 
• Participation options include online questionnaire or PDF questionnaire.
• Participants have the option to simultaneously participate in the Public Library Supplemental Report. As in previous years, you can opt in to participate in both surveys using the same questionnaire. The price of the supplemental report is $150 for participants. 
• Survey contacts were emailed a custom link through our Qualtrics survey platform on March 7.
