The 2023 Park and Recreation Compensation Survey report has been compiled using data provided by 108 cooperating organizations in the Chicagoland area who contributed data for 13,285 employees.

Statistics Provided by Job:
Number of organizations, number of employees, average base pay, weighted average, median, interquartile ranges (25th and 75th percentiles) and extremes (10th and 90th percentiles). Includes breakouts by agency type, budget category and equalized assessed value (EAV) for each position. Job descriptions are also provided.

The Survey contains data for 81 jobs in the following categories:

Several positions have been edited and added to this edition of the survey, new positions include:
