HR Source is proud to announce the addition of two new, valuable member resources this month. As always, our goal is to provide you with the information and support to effectively manage your human resources and employment responsibilities. In today’s environment, that means delivering meaningful, actionable, succinct data that’s readily accessible and just-in-time. Our new resources both rise to that challenge.

First up is some new website functionality that will be especially useful to those who frequently use the search function at hrsource.org to keep current on a particular issue or area of interest.

The next time you conduct a search, notice the little, blue “Subscribe” button, now appearing above your search results. Click the button, provide your email address, and anytime your search term newly appears on our website, in our newsletter, or in our HR Exchange communities, you’ll get an email notice letting you know.

No more constant checking to see if there’s new guidance on COVID-19, revisions to anti-harassment training requirements, fresh recommendations on recruiting, updates to record retention guidelines, or additional information for government contractors, just to name a few. Whatever your search term, when it comes up again, you’ll be notified. Of course, you can edit or delete your search term subscription anytime.

The other exciting addition to our array of member resources is the initial offerings in our new series of HR Field Guides. These topical guides are designed to tell you exactly what you need to know to successfully navigate a variety of HR issues. Ever wonder if you can handle a harassment investigation yourself? Download the guide. Exempt/non-exempt status have you perplexed? Refer to the guide. FMLA confusion? Just get the guide.

HR Field Guides can be found under the Resources tab at hrsource.org, and are completely free to members of HR Source. Even better, this is just the beginning. Watch for new guides to be added in the coming months, including individual employment law topics, prepared by our own HR Source attorneys. You can count on them to provide clear, concise, understandable explanations of the plethora of employment laws and regulations employers are challenged with daily.

And, as always, I remind you to never suffer in silence. The HR Hotline remains our most popular member benefit. If these new resources don’t quite answer your question, or your situation is just unique enough to be debatable, contact us through the HR Hotline online or at 800-448-4584. There’s nothing like talking to one of HR Source’s certified HR pros or employment law attorneys to help you determine the best way to handle your HR challenges.
