Results Released: 2023 Park and Recreation Compensation Survey

We are excited to announce that the results of the 2023 Park and Recreation Compensation Survey are now available!

This survey is a resource for park districts, forest preserves, golf courses, and special recreation associations. The 2023 report includes data provided by 108 Illinois organizations representing 13,285 employees in 81 positions. 

Several positions have been revised and added to this edition of the survey including Attendant, Day Camp Coordinator, Inclusion Manager, and Facilities Supervisor.

Compensation data is reported by agency type, budget category, Equalized Assessed Value (EAV), and geographic location.

The survey also includes pay increase projections for 2023.

All participants, regardless of membership status with HR Source, received a complimentary copy of the results earlier this month. Those who didn’t participate may purchase the survey here.
