It will close on July 1, 2024.

All contractors/subcontractors who need a written affirmative action program (AAP) must register in the portal once a year, attesting that they have current AAPs. Here are a few questions we’ve received over the years about this process.

Q: If we’re part of a larger entity, do we file on our own, or does our parent company file?
If your parent company files the EEO-1 Report for you, they should also register in the contractor portal for you.

Q: Should we register now?
Yes, if your AAP is current, regardless of its expiration date, go ahead. It doesn’t matter when you registered last year. If your AAP isn’t current, reach out to HR Source to help you update it before you register.

Q: We have some small locations (less than 50 employees) that do not have their own AAPs but are included in a larger location’s AAP. Do we have to file something for every single location regardless of size or just for the locations that have AAPs?

You do not need to list locations in the Contractor Portal that do not have their own AAPl.

The OFCCP has said that contractors who fail to register are more likely to be audited. Contact the AAP Team at HR Source with questions or to get your AAP updated. Reach us at info@hrsource.org or 800-448-4584.
