“Partners make it possible!”
This is a statement often used in the association industry and one that truly resonates with me. We are in the relationship business and accomplish so much more when we work with other organizations that share common goals.
The most recent example is our partnership with the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA), which resulted in a brand new survey, the 2018 Park and Recreation Compensation Survey, that was just published last week. 111 organizations contributed data for 7,407 employees in this inaugural survey that includes data for 50 positions.
As with all Management Association surveys, this one includes many helpful statistics (average base pay, weighted average, median, interquartile ranges), as well as breakouts including budget category, agency type, and equalized assessed value (EAV) for each position. Employers will find the layout and information easy to read and understand as they utilize the information to make important decisions necessary to recruiting and retaining talent.
If you have not yet seen the survey, check out this infographic with highlights or visit our Survey shop for more information or to purchase the report. For those who want to learn even more about the survey data as well as compensation planning in a competitive marketplace, check out our free training briefing scheduled for February 27.
Management Association is extremely fortunate to have an array of trusted partners who are committed to offering employers helpful resources. We are confident that our relationship with IPRA will continue to prosper in the years to come allowing us to enhance and expand this important survey as well as offer other meaningful services to our member organizations. Thanks to all who contributed compensation data to this initial survey and/or provided their time and knowledge which has made this partnership such a shining success.
