You Had Me at Hello

Earlier this month, we hosted a special member event in our newly-remodeled HR Source headquarters office in Downers Grove. Despite the dark skies and pouring rain, almost 100 members decided to take us up on our offer to say, “Hello Again.” Over the course of the morning, our guests checked out our updated digs, got better acquainted with our Provider Partners, and attended quick refresher sessions presented by our team. In between sessions, there was plenty of networking as well impromptu “Hotline Live” happening over coffee and brunch.  A positive buzz made everyone forget about the stormy weather while they shared their HR challenges.

hello againThis event is only one way that we engage with member contacts throughout the year. In fact, for most of our active member employers, coming to the recent event was simply a way to reacquaint themselves or introduce other people from their own teams to the vast array of resources we offer. Given our extensive menu of regularly evolving member benefits and services, it can be challenging for members to stay up to date on all the ways they can turn to HR Source for guidance and support. Our staff team can get frustrated when we hear, “We didn’t know you do that!” While we send out lots of timely information through our weekly newsletter, The Source, as well as regular marketing and social media updates, we understand how busy people are with their own organization’s priorities. It is increasingly difficult to push through all the “noise” we are all dealing with daily.

Therefore, we are open to saying “hello” in whatever way suits you best … wherever, whenever, however. If that means calling or emailing our staff when you are facing a new or difficult employee relations issue, having us come out to conduct an HR Checkup, attending one of our training programs or conferences, participating in our benchmarking surveys, asking our legal team to review your employee handbook, or utilizing our EngageHR staff to recruit for some of your tough-to-fill positions, we’re here to help. Maybe you need help making sure your compensation practices are competitive in the marketplace, your affirmative action program is in current compliance, or your employees are satisfied and engaged. HR Source is here to assist with these things and so much more.

So, if you didn’t have the opportunity to participate in our “Hello Again” event, I invite you to determine how best to ensure you’re making the most of your membership. My dedicated team and I stand ready to interact with you via email, phone, or better yet, in person. Don’t hesitate to tell us what meets your needs and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen. Hope to say “Hello Again” soon!
