Results Released: 2019 National Executive Compensation Survey

HR Source is excited to announce the release of the 2019 National Executive Compensation Survey!
This survey contains compensation data for 48 top management positions broken out by sales volume, industry, employment size, region, and specific geographic area.
New positions this year include:
- Controller – Single Location
- Controller – Multiple Locations
We had 1,671 U.S. organizations participate in cooperation with 16 associations of the Employer Associations of America (EAA), representing a total of 19 geographic locations. Survey participants contributed compensation data for 10,059 executives.
In addition to monetary compensation, this report contains a robust benefits section and provides benchmarking data on perquisites by job grouping for two categories: manufacturing vs. non-manufacturing and public vs. private.
Here are a few highlights from the 2019 results:
- This survey has a range of industries represented: 45% are in manufacturing and 55% are non-manufacturing.
- 84.3% are private employers.
- 67.3% are in the Great Lakes regional breakout which includes Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
- Average projected wage increases reported for a sampling of positions include:
