New Required Illinois Reports: Pay Data & Demographics
New Required Illinois Reports: Pay Data & Demographics
(64 Minutes)

In spring 2021, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed two new requirements into law that will go into effect in a few short years. In an amendment to Illinois Equal Pay Act (EPA), starting in 2024, private-sector employers with 100 or more employees must report employee pay data to the state and certify that the employer does not discriminate against employees in pay. In 2023, in a report unrelated to the EPA requirement, any Illinois employer that is required to file the federal EEO-1 Report (generally, private-sector employers with 100 or more employees or private-sector government contractors/first tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees) must provide similar race and sex data to the state of Illinois.

Join Angela Adams (Director, HR Services) and Kathryn O'Connor (Director, Compensation Services) in this recorded webinar, originally presented on June 30, 2021, as they discuss these reports, including what you can do to prepare to file them and how common compensation practices can lead to pay inequity problems.
